Gigi Trattoria, always dedicated to using fresh local ingredients, has taken this commitment one step further by planting the Gigi Garden (GG).

The bounty from our three season garden includes: baby greens, asparagus, peas, radishes, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, beets, a variety of winter squash, broccoli, cauliflower, pumpkins, root vegetables and greens such as chard and Lacinato (Italian) kale.

While we continue to rely on numerous local farms and food artisans for much of our fresh ingredient needs, the GG directly links us to our "Hudson Valley Mediterranean" tenet — preparing traditional dishes using Hudson Valley Ingredients.

Gigi Trattoria's talented culinary team, led by Chef Wilson Costa, incorporates the garden's bounty into the Gigi menu and the innovative delicous daily specials.

"Our garden allows us to supplement the existing excellent ingredients at the restaurant while offering inspiration with the changing culinary delights it provides each season. It is a full staff effort that cultivates friendships and a spirit of teamwork"
